This book chronicles the experiences of Keene, NH in 1995 when a Hollywood Location Manager by the name of Dow Griffith, looking for the perfect spot to film the movie JUMANJI, starring Robin Williams. Desperate for a cup of coffee, he stopped in Keene, NH, and the rest is film history. Author Susan MacNeil and Photographer Maureen McHugh, capture the many experiences and photographs of the locals involved in one way or another.
This chronicles the big question of "What Happened to the Horse?" and other memories. If you've seen the original film, in the opening there's a big statue in the middle of the Common where stood the statue of General Angus Parrish (modeled after Robin Williams). After filming was complete, Keene was gifted the horse, who went on it's own JUMANJI. adventure. Thanks to the sleuthing of the author, Susan MacNeil, the mystery has been solved and this book details that journey.
